Functionality of Calibre free application is mostly focused on managing your books. It allows you to read e-books in different formats, organize them in catalogs, convert them, manage metadata, edit metadata, auto-detect finest cover, auto-detect the best reading layout, many more. You have to look for different tutorials on YouTube or on Google. Application lacks a tutorial, so it is hard to figure out how to use everything. Usabilityis a bit difficult to use at first. Only thing user really has to do is go to the menu and select option they want to do. It’s so easy to get started with Calibre that it’s actually pretty difficult to use it wrong. All operations are done through interface, without need to use additional options. You can use it with your mouse or with keyboard only. You will need just a few minutes to get used to it. It’s so easy to use, even if you are using it for first time. Usability of install Calibre is very good. Connect to a folder button lets you add e-books from your computer by browsing for them. With Calibre, you can add your e-books by using the Connect to a network drive button. It is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive.
